I want to repaint the silver heat shield at the rear of the 348 engine. This is the two part composite shield over the exhaust system.

Does anyone know what kind of paint works best and matches?

Hello Bill, I'd imagine any high temperature aerosol paint would do the job just nicely. Just like anything involved with painting make sure you prepare the heat sheilds first by thoughly washing them removing any contaminates off the surfaces, air drying them and then applying a primer for the new paint to adhere too. I will be replacing my timing belt in the near future and I will be doing a step by step process and posting pics here, this will be one of the steps that I will be doing also.

goodluck with yours and make sure you post up some before and after pics for us too.
