    I am beginning the search for a 348. I do not want to buy a car site unseen. That said, I am trying to find one in Texas. Houston area would be wonderful. Does anyone have a short list of Ferrari dealers for the great state of Texas? I already watch Ferrari of Houston & Dallas and Lambo of Dallas.

    Also looking for private parties.

    I am looking at very late 01's through 95's. I prefer GTB then GTS then Spiders. Yellow is a no go. Red or Black exteriors are my favorite exteriors with black interiors being highly desired. Silver, blue, and others are OK. Red/tan always acceptable of course :) . Series Speciales always nice too.

    Mileage is not a huge concern although I price accordingly. Good records a must. Clear titles only (no salvage).

    I have to sell my 308 before I buy - I say this because I am not currently in an immediate position to buy.

    Talk to Ric Rainbolt (ricrain). His 348 is probably the best available right now.

    At least buy a 355, I had a cpl of 348's. Still have a Challenge car, but I finally sold the street car. Just get a 355, they are the approx same range. I can get you a good one in the 60's.

    If you do want a good on, I know of a great 90 348 TS in Red black, IM me,

    Wes, I hope you meant red/tan.....
    I have a pristine 90 348ts red/tan in Austin that I may be ready to move (again).

    I really need the garage space, my hesitation is that the 348 is such a GREAT car for the money. I rarely drive it, but every time I do, I swear I'll never sell it. The sound of a Tubi'd 348 under a bridge is better than anything else I've ever driven 550, 355, GT3, etc..... The non-power steering, ts top, brakes, power, pedal spacing, I just love the car.

    I have off-site storage, but I might be wise to sell the car. Send me a note if you want to see it.

    Always a good thing! Saw your profile, have you seen Jimpo's white 328? I saw it when I PPId my 308 in Dallas. His car is sweet looking.

    White is OK...search out the dark side...black on black is better...and helps you lose that unwanted water weight!

    No havent seen his White one..

    Thats ok though. my "perfect" 308 would be a white in "mint" condition.. (id probably put some different seats in. burgundy (with a black center seam).

    but.. all in all id rather buy from active members of this group than just someone "off the street". (just because i know most people here really take care of their cars). I'm tired of the red.. Black is the next best thing (for me..other than white.)

    my father is also looking for a 348, it has to be yellow spyder with black top and interior. He just bought a western hauler truck and featherlite 2 car trailer from corvette world of dallas and has the TR and old mercedes going in it but he made sure that a 348 would fit with the TR.

    the best one I found was at San Antonio ferrari, they had one from a FCA member in El Paso on trade in for 56k. It was flawless, we did not move soon enough, it went to NY area and they would tell us who took it to see if we could buy from that guy.

    so once again if anyone has any leads on on a 348 in that model let me know.

    Besides when my father buys a 348 it mean I get to drive which ever one he does not want to drive that day :)

    At the car show, which 348 was Ric's? I saw him in the 360 and so I didn't even think to keep my eyes open for his 348.
