Ok, I did a search and couldn't come up with a match to my problem. Here is what is going on or not.... Started with the HVAC unit just cutting out no power, hit the AC and it came on, later the lower and upper air dist. buttons light up but unable to change the setting, fan or heat-AC.

Cycled the battery worked fine for a few miles then back to the lower left button light on and unable to adjust between AC and heat can push the buttons but doesn't change to that mode. Now no power at all, I checked all the connections cleaned the pins as shown in the 348 primer and still no power.

All other gauges work well, any ideas?

If the problem reappears, replace the fuse holder with a bullet type, same 30 amp fuse amperage (just use a new fuse, though). The fuse holder can go bad due to overheating even though the fuse doesn't always blow on that particular location.

Another problem can be a failing car battery. A low battery can cause the HVAC ecu to act up.
