    Dear all,

I have to replace a bulb on the instrument cluster (slow down light).
To have an access to the bulb, may I have to remove the instrument cluster from the dash and open it ?
    regards from Luxemburg

The cluster is extremely easy to remove-- just two Phillips head screws at the bottom. Lay a towel over the steering column to avoid scratching the shroud. I find it easiest to look through the windshield to disconnect and reconnect the electrical plugs.

I don't think you have to disassemble anything to get to the slow down lamp, but even if you do it's not very difficult. If I remember correctly, the bulb should be in a base that twists counterclockwise a bit and then pulls straight out. Once the base is removed the bulb can be pulled straight out.

You may can even remove and replace the bulb without disconnecting the electrical plugs but I've never tried it. Those plugs are the worst part of the job for me.

Make sure to get the top of the cluster securely hooked onto its mount before replacing the two screws.
