If I ever get my 348 out of the mechanic's hands, I know I will have to do some interior work. The present (tan) carpet is some sort of fuzzy stuff, not what I'm used to looking at in older cars with the wool wilton. Does this sound right? Can anyone post clear pix of an interior? And do we have a recommendation for an upholsterer in L.A., preferably SFV? Or does anyone know of a parts car with good tan interior? Thanks!

I actually had the original stuff, Wilton wool, installed 6 years ago. I am sure the stuff is available. It cost me about $1200 installed if I recall. But mine was tan and after a while you just can't clean it anymore. Black is more durable that way. ave you tried a thorough and profesisonal cleaning of it, or is it damaged?

Good idea. I have a steam cleaner and a great car wash down the street with a better machine.

Thanks, friends! As I suspected, it looks as if my car has some cheapo after-market fuzzy carpet, so I'm in for a complete carpet job. Oh well! Ed
