Hi, I have a 92K 348TS. The Center Console goes off intermitently, and has now gone off virtualy permenantly. That is the Air Con, Heater and fan buttons and clock are 'dead'. The Central Locking button and Fuel Filler release work as does the fuel and temp gauge. The panel is working 'ok' as occassionaly it will come on and I can adjust the temp and set the fan and the clock.
I beleive it is a loose connection or bad relay.....the question is has anyone had this problem and if so can they give 'chapter and verse' on the solution. The car is up for Sale on PistonHeads. [UK] STUNNING 348TS/355. The 355 relates to it having the 355 front and grill the doors, the rear valance grill and lights and the 355 OEM wheels and tyres......Have a look.... the car is immaculate, and prior to this every immortal thing works faultlessly, but as I've found in the past when you put a car up for Sale, something goes wrong....I went to engage the Clutch on my last car and 'Crack' the Cable broke.....it's as if they know!
Very nice car bye the way!

Ernie.......I'm on my way out for a 'small fine wire' brush and some 'contact cleaner' The guy who put that into picture form is a Star. Thanks again for the advice Ernie! I'll post again when I've had a go at it [I may well 'wet' the joints as you say...whilst she's apart.]

Check the hidden 30 Amp fuse under felt cover near passenger firewall in trunk as well.

I've gone out to get the repair 'kit' from Maplins and returning home she's come back on again.....I guess that's the fuse ruled out.....I'll find it anyway just to know were it is Thanks. The cars a Stunner and I'm delighted with it............She turns Heads everywhere I go! and the Tubi exhaust gives it a really great sound! I'm going to have a go at the repair confident it is just a loose connection.

You might be surprised- mine worked intermittently too- also did some weird stuff with the clock- it ended up being that fried fuse believe it or not.
