After getting help on this forum I have changed my battery. Until the new battery it was standing for about 4 weeks. Took the 348 for a drive with the new battery and all was well until it started to develop a bad judder, more so over 40mph. Kind of like loss of power in sudden jolts. Any ideas appreciated.

Quick question.............did you start the car and let it idle for 15 minutes AFTER you changed the battery, WITHOUT touching the accelerator pedal ect...ect..? :):)

Did you know the 348 has to "initialize" on 1st startup, after power has been disconnected. :):)

I changed the battery and then started it up and left it idle for 10mins without touching the throttle. Perhaps I will try again for 15 min

Disconnect battery for 5-10 minutes mate, then re-connect. Start car and let it idle for 15-20mins and see how you go. :):)

Report back then. It may be ok. If not, it may have another issue. ;);)

Let us know how you get along mate. :):)

Thanks to everyone who contributed - Disconnect and reconnected battery after 10mins (checked earth all good - noticed positive connection was a bit loose so tightened). Ran for 20 minutes whilst it appeared to play tunes and had a mind of its own until it started to idle nicely (almost 20 mins). Took it for a run - much better but a little somethin not right - blasted it up and down the road - that cleared it - now running like a dream - brilliant!
