Hey everyone, after looking at some ferraris on fire pics, it got me concerned... is there a special fire extinguisher I should get for a 348? thanks

This has been discussed before, but I believe the best you can do is an auto release in the engine compartment as well as a hand held mounted in the cockpit. Nitrogen is the chemical you want to use as it leave no messy residue.

It's best to have an automatic fire extinguisher in your engine bay (an inexpensive unit is in the link below in my signature) and a handheld unit in your cockpit.

    Hi there,

I ordered mine fron Ricambi, The Halon. Fortunately I had it when my 355 caught fire on the bloody high-way and I managed to control the damage only to burnt few wires about the Y-pipe. Just order one and leave in your car. Trust me, its a very very cheap option you can buy .

    Good luck
