My 348TS has to have daylight running lights for Canada.
Anyon know how to do this?
It appears that the two (white) lights ajacent to the fog lights could be used for this purpose.
    Thanks in adavance

The row of switches in the center of the dash. I think its the far left or 2nd from left. Flick that on and it will do your day lights for you.

You have lost me here. On my car I have lights at the bottom of the bumber, which is standard. They are not good enough for driving at night but they pass the laws here in Czech because we must also drive with lights on during the day. These lights are controlled by a switch in the center of the dash. It can be let on so you never have to think about it and they turn off automaticly when the car is off.

These have nothing to do with the lights the pop up from the bonet, that are controled by the lever near the steering wheel.

This is the switch Im talking about. Have this on and the lever near the steering wheel set to the 2nd position(1st is off,3rd is for bonnet lights) and your fog lights will go on everytime you start the car.

As far as I know when the car you bring up is 15 yrs old or older which I assume yours is you do not have to comply to the day time running lights or any other upgrades that a newer car has to fore-go or else they would make you change your bumpers as well, which mech shop told you this? you should verify and let us know I will check tomorrow as well.
