If you could have any Ferrari but would choose the 348 lets see your names....

Count me in with a close second going to the 328.

I have to say that i miss my 348 Tb...
    I owned it for 4 years, and since March i own a 512 TR...and i miss the 348...

Ok, i won't sell my 512 to buy a 348...the 512 is a really better and more powerfull car...and is far superior that the 348...

BUT the 348 was my first F-car, i'm still in love of her body and engine and i think I'll soon try to find a nice 348 Spider to add in the stable...

That looks awesome Bill. Your car is what started the affair that may result in my divorice as I spend more time looking for a 348 then hanging out with her. The garage is SWEET!!!!

It is a Ginetta G20 Roadster. It is a cross between a Miata and a Cobra. Looks much like a Cobra that was put in the dryer too long (to me)!!! It has a Miata engine and transmission. They are made primarily for racing in the UK (they use Ford engines there). The 348 is much more imposing, goes much faster, is much smoother, is more comfortable, makes me proud, etc... But the loud, hot, raw nature of the little roadster makes me smile soooo much. Honestly, it is more fun to drive than the 348, but much less 'polished'. Currently the car has an advertised 155 hp, but on the dyno the stock motor typically makes around 100 RWHP. So, the next project is to put a little MP62 cold side supercharger on that engine, upgrade the clutch and go for around 200 RWHP on a car that weighs around 1375 pounds (should be right at 1400 pounds with the supercharger). That ratio should make it go fast enough!!! I usually wear a skateboarder helmet when I drive it, get lots of funny reactions doing that. The car is extremely small, consider that it is only about 5 feet away from the Infiniti in the foreground, so the size comparison is pretty realistic. The top of the windshield is around 38", and the car is only 11'6" end to end. It is about 10" shorter in height than a first gen Miata, about 2.5 feet shorter length wise than a Miata, and weighs around 1100 pounds less. Sitting in the driver's seat I can reach about 2" from touching the ground next to the car.

Obviously the question is flawed. If I could afford or be given any Ferrari a 348 wouldn't be in the top 20......or 30....or

But the 348 represents (IMO) the best VALUE in the Ferrari world.....the best combination of price, performance (sorry 328), and style.

    I agree completely.

But if price were no object I would probably put the 348 ahead of many of the Ferrari models. It has a great driving feel, although it makes your heart skip a beat when you are pushing it, and the roads curves a little more than anticipated. Hold on, hold on!!!! This past weekend on a drive I went off road a few times, but with such style!

I love my 348 SS, but given the whole universe of Ferrari's, I'd probably end up with a Novitech 360. Hmm, maybe a 288 GTO. Or an F40. Nah, too brutal. Damn, I don't like this game!

I guess it depends on two factors: who is paying for the F car, and if I'd actually want to drive it.
I've always wanted an F40, but I'd never drive the thing and it would eat me alive. So, the 348 Spider is a winner :D

Price is always a factor. :( I'm glad I bought a 348SS. I could have bought a eary 355 but I think with the current market conditions the 348 has more of an upside..........I hope!!!!!! :0 ;)

I had never seen one of those before. I'll have to run you with the cobra when you get it upgraded! ;o) We usually come down to S. Florida for a week or two in Jan/Feb. (This time I'll bring the 348 AND the cobra!) Keep up the good work BT, Scott

Being lucky enough to drive what i want and not what i can afford,i choose my 348 as ferrari have yet to bring out a car that rocks my world as much as my car.if that ever happens the 348 will still be staying around.
