    has anyone restored, or gotten a new set of luggage compartment carpet for the 348? is the 355 the same?

    They are not the same.

    FWIW, Mine has been sitting in the basement for over a year. I ripped the whole damn thing out because it just gets in the way of fuses, relays, and brake stuff. Be careful opening the bonnet after washing the car, or in the rain --- other than that, it saves a whole lot of hassle. IMHO, it looks cool and saves about 10 pounds of weight too.

    hmm , its an idea, i may try it . but id still like to locate a salvage car with a nice set..
