Any simple solution to the hot starting problem on a 91 348 with motronic 2.5? Flooring the acellerator after turning the ignition to start works better than doing nothing, but only about less than half the time. Thinking about upgrading to a 355. I have heard that the early models had valve problems. Also considering one with paddle shift, but also heard that that was not perfected until the 360. Any advice on 355 model years to consider? A 1991 348 with Motronic 2.5?? Doesn't sound right... "Number 1 with a bullet" on the hit parade of hot start problems is probably the old flywheel bugaboo. Do you hear an usual rattling sound from the engine compartment when starting or shutting down? No simple solution if that's what it is.
