Hi Guys, recently my bank 1/4 MAF failed. I got it rebuilt by Python (thanks to pointers from board members). Apparently the MAF was totally hosed and Python found another circuit board that was the same and installed that. No other details other than that from Python at the moment. I got the MAF back a couple of days back and re-installed in the car. The car idles very high, right up around 2k rpm. If I start the car with the "new" MAF disconnected then it will idle where expected. If I reconnect the "new" MAF and disconnect the other side then the car idles where expected. When both MAF are connected then the idle rpm slowly builds to around 2k. Both MAF's are at 383 ohm and twiddling the "new" MAF's pot wildly from 100ohm to 1k ohm seems to make no difference to the engine sound (I'd expect idle to change etc) I took the car for a run on the road and see transitory check engine lights from the "new" MAF's side. I've not pulled the codes yet but I would bet it's a lamba error moaning about a/f ratio. I've got a mail into Python asking if they hooked up the pot to the new board or not. I've checked for obvious things like vacuum leaks etc. Any other things I can check for, or any ideas from the 348 guru's would be very welcome indeed. Simon
