    Looking for someone to do the major service on my 348 in Los Angeles/Calabasas at a reasonable price. I called several well-known shops (Franco, etc), but they're all too busy. And GTO wants $9K! ... that's crazy.

    Have you ever had a major service on your car and what kind of work are you expecting? What do you consider a reasonable price for a proper major service on your car?

    It will be the first major service since I bought it 5-years ago from Wade (F-chatter) in Florida. Last service was done then. Engine out major service includes: belt, water pump, bearings(?), valve adjustment, and anything else that needs adjustment or replacing. Around $6500 is reasonable.

    Call R2 in Santa Clarita and ask for the owner Rafi. He does the service on my buddies 360. He’ll be doing the work on my 430 when it needs it.
