Hi Brothers - As I mentioned in my 348TS purchase thread last week, I do plan to do a major/belt service on my new car, starting in perhaps 2 weeks or thereabouts. I'm installing a lift next week first and need to line up parts, etc. Of course, I do plan the usual... belt, belt tensioners, chain tensioner, water pump, hoses, etc. I'll also probably take a look at the transaxle, change the fluid, etc.
I will probably want to keep the car as stock as possible at this time, so probably won't powder coat the valve covers, or things like that.

However, for those that have experience doing this, I'd like to ask what other little things I should be prepared to take care of once I get into the job. I'd rather not have to spend a lot of time running to get misc supplies once I get started. What paints, lubes, sealants, etc. should I have available that may be needed? Anything else I should be prepared for?

    Thanks a Lot!
    Rick

i would go ahead and check the water pump and clutch while you have everything out... as far as the little things, there are others in the forum that could give you better insight... also check the www.the348.com website. it might have a good list.
