it's similar to the special order like @Robb had in his blue car....not the same though...it might just be cuoio and tan together? It's a similar tone to the tool kit or luggage in the pic.

and it could just be a third tone re-dye...I dig it.

Looks like cuoio with tan carpets. I can't. Blech. Rare though, I'll give it that. And the blue is fantastic of course. :)

Best color on a 348… but I like yellow so my taste is questionable.

Agree. Shields on non-anniversary cars are so corny.

Shields are fine if original metal and ceramic, those looks like puffy stickers. Have to go.

Stop right there - you said it yourself - it's your opinion...just like it's the owner's opinion that those wheels look sharp on his 348, hence the reason he has them on there to begin with. I am 100% certain he does not care that you think they are horrid.

The only opinion that matters is the one whose name is on the title.

Personally I think silver 360 wheels look fantastic on the 348 it helps with the vertical lines. Have to correct offset first of course. That said, plenty of people also like chrome, remember that was all the rage in the late 80's early 90's.

I think it more depends whos in the market at any given time more than anything, the 348 is not uber desirable yet. Someone may try and flip it next spring when folks are flush with bonus money. Personally I don't the the 348 in black, its not an uncommon sentiment. That may have contributed to it. Reseal red and all that. Definitely don't think wheels killed it, those ae easily swappable, as far as I recall Lucas your looking to swap wheels yourself it did not stop you from buying.

No its not the wheels I am afraid. Can't say what but its not the wheels, I suspect the market as a whole, inflation, recession, politics, uncertainty etc... 348 buyers are not the same as other newer premium or Mcclaren , Lambo buyers so many hold their cash for now. I would not buy at this time.

Just my opinion I could be wrong.

In this case, the only opinions that matter is those of potential buyers. In which case, I believe I was proven correct.

Proven? Your hypothesizing is was the wheels, there is no evidence for that, your your proclivities on the hideousness is not evidence. Opinion is not the same as a fact, it can happen to be... but you need to demonstrate a correlation to draw that conclusion.

Likely scenario is no one wanted a black spider at this particular time.

No one is mad here. Certainly not me. I happen to agree about those wheels being hideous, if they were silver and offset corrected it would be different but in chrome with OEM offset its hideous.

You did not say "I believe I was correct." you said proven, that's a mighty big word is all. It's called anecdotal at best.

I HATE black spiders so "I believe I was proven correct." about its sale price because it was black.

Now what.. we both believe a different proof of belief. Ahhh! Perhaps were both right!:D

No one is mads this is just a discussion, frankly a good one, so thanks! ;)

Ok, ok… I think I’m pretty good at selling cars and I have a high degree of confidence I could have gotten more for that car. As I said in the bat comments, with those I’ll fitting chrome wheels it looked like something I’d expect to see on Craigslist. I hope it’s not the market, I hope it’s the car. Only time will tell.

You also believe that your statement of hideous wheels trumps what everyone else has to say.

As for your second sentence, the only one getting mad is you about the seller’s taste in wheels AND that a few of us here have told you that you are wrong.

My advice to you; get over yourself, you will love a much stress free life.

And, I would never buy a car from you.

Somebody forgot to have their bottle and nap today.

The maturity in some of these pages is ridiculous.

    Back to 348’s please.
