    Hi guys
my 348 has started to run lumpy on tickover and when in say 5th at low revs she miss fires but it clears as you go up the revs, she also has a very erratic tickover which corrects its self when you blip the throttle,im thinking airflow meter, cam sensors or crank sensors, any ideas will be gratefuly recieved
    Thanks

Can you tell us anything about the recent history on the car? Has it been mostly sitting during the winter without being used, or has it been driven regularly? Has it been running fine until just recently? By any chance has the battery gone dead, or been disconnected lately? If so, you MAY just need to re-initialize the Motronic ECU's.

The other components you mentioned (e.g. the crank sensors) are a distinct possibility.

    Just for kicks.

After the car has sat all night, so the engine is stone cold, disconnect the battery for :30 seconds, then reconnect it.
Make sure the car is out of gear, then turn it on and let it idle until the cooling fans kick on (about 15 minutes +/-). While it is idling make sure ALL accessories are turned of, and do NOT touch anything. Just let it sit and idle while the ECU's relearn the warm up parameters.

Give that a whirl and then get back to us.
