    Looking to purchase a 348 / mondial T long block in the USA unfortunately my engine skipped timing and had catastrophic damage. If the price was right would also consider a 355 engine, thanks.

    Just curious, did a valve break off and damage pistons? Typically it's just a head rebuild, just did the same due to timing belt skipping due to pully fence failure.

    Have a mondial T here that also dropped a valve and has catastrophic engine damage. This client isnt interested in spending the money to fix the car. I did locate a used, a Rebuilt and a new old stock engines in Europe happy to share links if you need help sourcing. pm me if you want

    Yes found pieces from an intake valve from cylinder 8 all the way in cylinder 4 I had already purchased a head due to the spark plug being completely destroyed then when I pulled the engine and started taking it apart found out how bad it was, damaged pistons, cylinder walls, destroyed head etc I may still rebuild just seems more cost effective to replace whole engine at this point

    There isn't any in the US. GT car parts has a complete disassembled unit that needs rebuild/assembly we spent weeks looking.

    Sounds horrible I suspect cheaper to have existing block redone, I did the heads fully machined with all new intake valves for like $4K, doing work yourself and outsourcing to machine shop (pick a good one) will save 15K +, Best of luck!
