348 - need help on gettting some real sound from the exhaust

I have a 360 F1 spider with a tubi ngt exhaust very sweet note. I have a friend that has a stradale with the tubi ngt and no cats, (way to loud - but soundsd freaking amazing on a track). That is why I got the ngt.

Anyway I have a buddy that has a 348 and would like to add some sound to the exhaust note.

What is the most cost effective way to get some sound without changing the exhaust???

also what exhaust would you recommend.

I really only like the tubi on the ferrari's.

 

Sound- w/o changing the exhaust?? Change the cams, that ought to get you a different exhaust note!! Honestly not sure what you mean. I just put a X-OST on mine and it sounds sick!!!

A Tubi or X-OST matched up with a set of Hyper Flow cats is pretty amazing in the sound department. Eugenio just installed the Hyper Flows last month to the Tubi........big time scream when you jump on it.

 

Not a 348, but this is my 355 with X-OST and stock cats!! This will give you an idea on how good the X-OST sounds!!!

Hey 285, I'm not sure if you like the exaust or you hate it? Saying it sounds sick, I just want to make sure it is in a good way. I'm seriously considering one of these X pipes.

My dear 348 (355) Brother: your machine sounds awesome!!! BUT, my friend, on viewing the video you are a very foolish person. I wish you well. Life is entirely too short, and your behavior is subject to shortening yours. Between L. A. and 'Vegas maybe. But, in a tunnel (passing others!), I think not.

I think the traffic is one way in that tunnel. The double line is for not changing lanes. Although most traffic is in the right lane (maybe out of habit).
I think 285 is a fairly safe driver.

You can increase/change the sound of the 348 quite a bit by swapping the stock airboxes for a pair of BMC carbonfibre airboxes (these don't cost much at all). You'll notice a fairly louder and sweeter exhaust note. This is because more air will get through to the engine. You'll also give the car more power.
