Very odd question...... But I need to cut the exhaust noise level on my 348 as one of the tracks I run it at has a low noise level, 105Dba, and it is currently regestring at 108/109Dba. Any suggestions!?!?!?! Cheers
Someone on here made a quick silencer out of some fruit cans with holes punched in them for the same reason. then I think they screwed them to the existing exhaust tips and lowered the sound by about 8 dB. Looked kind of silly, but it worked I guess. BT

Nice thread. Another good way to get the noise down is to stuff steel wool into the mufflers. That has helped us pass loud cars through Road Worthy's many times.
