Hi. I have a Nouvalari SS exhaust on my 348tb, and it's unfortunately a bit too loud for me. I mean, it sounds great under load, but the droning when cruising makes it so you can't have a conversation with someone else in the car and it's a bit to loud for driving around my neighborhood.

I bought the car like this, and haven't actually seen what a stock system looks like. A couple questions I'm hoping someone might be able to answer...

Are the single silencer and dual silencer stock systems interchangeable? Mine is a 92 tb, so I think it was originally the dual system?

Would a factory exhaust plug into the decat pipes on mine, or does it look like I would have to replace all of that?

Can I run the factory exhaust without cats, and if so will it sound any better that a factory exhaust with cats?

I'm not sure what I want to put on yet, and I'm thinking I might just order a used factory set off eBay for a few hundred bucks and start there. I also don't have the 3 to 5k to dish out for a capristo or tubi or something right now...

    Thank you!

Not 100% sure but I think they can be made to fit if not.

Yes, however, you may have to loosen the decat pipes at the front to give yourself a bit more play to match up with the exhaust.

So you need 4 doughnut exhaust gaskets (one each from front and back of each decat pipe). You're also missing the bar that goes across between the 2 existing exhaust hangers - did the previous owner supply that with the car?? Finally, I strongly recommend replacing the clamp bolts/nuts/washers with stainless steel ones - I'm guessing they will all snap when you take the backbox off.

Yes, you can and that's the set up I used to have.

I am running this system...Parts 1-4...On standard cats now but prior to that, test pipes. No issues fitting either. This system is a decent compromise noise wise. Dont find it drones. Defo a tad louder with test pipes...Ive seen them for sale used from time to time...You should be able to utilise the standard sprung exhaust mounts...Known as the "sports system" .

Have a word with PD Gough in Nottingham, who make Nouvalari. See if they can modify yours to be a bit more useable. They are very helpful and might save you money
