How many quarts of oil does a 348 Spyder take? What is a normal rate of oil consumption in a 348? I think the manual says that consumption can range from .25 to .53 US gal (as I recall) per 600KM. How often should I check my oil, should it be done every 500 miles? Is it hard to change the oil on a 348? Keep in mind it took me 15 minutes just to find the dip stick in this thing. The oil filter looks like it is ***** to get too. Can a regular shop with competent mechanics change the oil and filter? Lastly, if the oil drops below a certain level does an alarm sound or show? Any help is much appreciated.
