Dude...you just don't get it. Read my posting. I'm agreeing with you, in that new NSXs are worth 90k because some people (like me) want to pay for the *passion* of an NSX, even though a 997 will spank it in most categories. It takes a real dip**** to argue with someone that is agreeing with themself. Now, go back to your cave. Take your ****ty old Ferrari with you, since you're apparently illiterate. At least the 360/430 guys can read, thus allowing them the opportunity to pursue great careers and afford such fine automobiles. Oh the video - they both are going slow. If that's a race, the tortoise must have been somewhere nearby. I take solace in knowing that the vast majority of Ferrari owners AREN'T as lame as the jokers on this thread. What a bunch of losers... (you can have the last word here -- these are your Internet friends you need to save face with, not I ______)
Just to reiterate: Bullfighter -- Despite being a self-proclaimed "communication consultant," your communication skills (and reading comprehension acumen) are horrendous at best, and career-limiting at worst. Your rhetoric is being translated in Modena, and "the mothership" is choking on your garbage harder than when Rosie O'Donnell purchased an F430 Spyder and drove off in a bikini.
I don't think he wanted to race. But here is an nsx type r beating 360 911 turbo and m3 on the track only getting beat by over heating to a gallardo and marci with twice the power and 4 wheel drive. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=2949919259744802395&q=nsx nsx type r beating 355 on the quarter mile http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=2726714937706771213&q=nsx I like the 355 more than the nsx though
I have not purchased anything my friend. Not to be pro honda or ferrari, this post has been very helpful i hope enthusiast in the future can find their answer here as well. Honda and ferrari both started racing similar history similar time. NSX engineers consulted with Pininfarina when originally conceiving the NSX according to this nsx book im reading. Infact it was more based on the 911 heritage than ferrari, they used a nearby factory in nureinber(bad spelling) and tested the nsx to match the 911 for everything. Of course in the end 993/964 had 350 man hours to build while nsx only 70, part of that is due to the entire frame seats suspension being simple aluminum unlike the steel 911. Never the less i love both cars and sometimes we buy things because we only live once and reason aside the heart has rights Still have not found the right car or decided what car to buy I guess I will just wait until the time is right.
I think we need to ban this Ski-Stink A$$ whole. I hate when it gets personal. By the way Ski-Stink, I don't see professonal writing skills in your garbage. I can honestly say you give the NSX croud a rally bad name. It's a pitty you can't find anything better to do with you pathetic time than hassle us. Says a lot about who you are, and what you stand for. I'm going to hope the great Bald Eagle strikes you from here, and makes haste. The next thing this idiot is going to be telling us is how great Japan did in the world cup.
Mr. Banker gets a few days to think about the differences between debating an issue and attacking a person. The rest of you, please carry on.
Ski_Banker banned by wax on 11-06-2006 for 92 Days until 02-06-2007, ~06:00, as 3 months ought to be long enough to learn to show some respect to the locals. Anybody else need a swift kick to the nuts? Edit: Ah, chit - Till - I beat you to the punch on the actual ban.
About time. He seemed to be a trolling schmuck IMO. Im sure he wont return after his ban. I think he knew all odds were against him, hence why he lashed out like a goose. He wanted to get banned.
Wax - you ban Ski_Banker, but you let Indy get away with what he said below? Why does one get banned for a strong personal attack but the other walks? Is that a consistent message?
Biobanker...........skibanker. Are you guys brothers? I think it was because skibanker called us all a 'bunch of losers'. Thats not on in my book.
He he, brothers... Nope - never met him, but he is a regular on PRIME too. I saw an AMAZING 348 driving home the other day. It was pristine! The red popped out like it was exploding off of the car. Shields and all; the car was a real looker. Wickedly clean. Too bad it was too cold to have the windows down or roof off. Couldnt hear it.
1991 348 MSRP - $105,000 current value in average shape - ~$45,000 Currently worth 43% of new price at 15 years old. 1991 NSX MSRP - $60,500 current value in average shape - ~$30,000 Currently worth 50% of new price at 15 years old. Neither is likely to depreciate much further. But I'd say the 348 may come down another $5-10K, while the NSXs have been bottomed out at $30K for the last 6-7 years. From an investment and maintenance cost point of view, the NSX is likely the better choice.
You know I see your point in the resale, but in fact I think it's much worse than that for a 348. I kee hearing that 105K number, But I don't know anyone that bought them new, "I know exactly 2 people". There telling me if you could get one for 175K it was considered a bargin. Many people paid more than 200K, from from what my friends tell me. Regardles what anyone says it was a really hot Ferrari when it came out. That would mean its closer to 25% of the original sticker price for the 348.
From an investment and maintenance cost point of view, the Honda Civic smokes the NSX and 348. Ferrari's are about the most irrational car you can buy, and that's fine.
That for damn sure!!! Since when has real fun been something that is aproached with logic and economic planning?? I think not!! http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showpost.php?p=136216795&postcount=18
