I see cheap Bosch oxygen sensors on Ebay for Volvo 850 (advertised as also for Ferrari 348, Alfa, Fiat etc.) which look same, including the long wire and the two connectors, as the sensors on my 348 (Euro, non-cat). Has anybody tried the Volvo 850 oxygen sensor? Does it work well?

Yes, I believe Ernie posted these identical ones in his DIY O2 replacement thread

Great, thanks. I was searching the forum and googling but nothing came out (a lot on the 355 sensors). Perhaps I should have intellisearched.

Miroljub, not sure how much the Volvo sensors cost but the part # Bosch specifies for our cars can often be had on eBay for quite reasonable money. I forget what I paid for mine but I think it was in the neighborhood of $60 each. Found them just by searching the Bosch number (0 258 003 222). Also search the same number without spaces. There are some offered out of Latvia right now for US $67.34 each shipped from a seller with a strong feedback profile: https://tinyurl.com/y7toch37

Thanks. I know this seller, bought a number of parts from him. A UK seller offers them at $41 (has one only) but his shipping cost to Malaysia is almost as much as the cost of the item so I'll get a couple from Latvia.

FYI, a few weeks ago I ordered O2 sensors off Rock Auto, and one of them had the correct long wire, the other was short (still works). Same part numbers on the box. Annoyed, but not worth the effort to me to buy another and swap it out if it seems to work.

I put in 2 new 0 258 003 222 and got O2 code (1114) for the first time. I was trying to resolve lambda regulation).

Anyone know of a good part number for O2 sensors? Walker 250-24040 seem unavailable.

I put my old O2 sensors back on and they work just fine. The new ones I got fit perfectly but they must not communicate with ECU well. Idk
