Hi, I'm just replacing the old expansion tank cap on my 1991 Euro 348TS (it looks a bit manky and I'm doing many other cosmetic and functional items for 30K service + cambelts/seals/tensioners). I've been sent a new Italian manufactured cap that's marked on the box 'TAPPO RADIATORE SC INOX TAR 1.1. and ARTICOLO 50.75' (I assume it's 1.1 Bar). My existing cap (original?) is marked 0.9 Bar. The part number 101499 was said to be correct for my car. Will the new cap be ok and is it a recognised supercede Bar value? Regards Dave
The basic 348 primer says its ok http://webpages.charter.net/aircover/348/1994Ferrari348Spider.html#Coolant As does the main 348 thread here http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=72018&highlight=radiator+cap
