Ferrari of Atlanta has 348 GT competizione. I saw it at Road Atlanta this past May. It was AWSOME. This car sounded unlike any other Ferrari I have ever heard. I was told that it was as fast as the 360 challenge cars. I was also told they were going to sell it. It was on thier web site for a while.I think the price was around 150k.
elgin 328, was the car one of the 11 Le Mans cars made or a standard EU road car usually numbered out of 50 on the steering wheel? my guess is the latter. Be interesting to find out though...
I think it was one of the 11. the salesman at the dealership said the owner of the dealership called FERRARI in Italy & asked about one. They said there was none. He called 2 weeks later, FERRARI said they had one so he bought it. It is listed in the Sept. 13 issue of Auto Week Mag. 93 348 GT Competizione red ......159,000 but it is not on there web site www.ferrariofatlanta.com It may be sold ???
Just looked and it isn't listed in the Preowned section. I would think for 150 large it would want to be one of the Le Mans cars... Cheers Kevin
Hello, Please find some pictures of my 348 Challenge. I raced this immaculate example 2 times in the french hill climb championship. It was a fantastic experience and even if it's an "old" Ferrari, I mesured that any Ferrari racer is popular. Passionate regards. I like to add up another nice pic to this thread. She is an 348 challenge with racing look and fixed clear frontlight. She looks so sexy IMO. I think it was taken from an event in Japan. Enjoy!!!
Always liked these... My two favourite, personal 348 pics... I took them both in Francorchamps... at the Spa Ferrari Days...
Nice pics! you keep yours in stock form, dont you? Do you own both 348 & 355? Which one do you like better? Cheers!
Thanks! But sorry, small misunderstanding here... I meant those pics are my favourite personal shots I took... The 348 isn't mine... unfortanetely... Actually, I don't have a Ferrari YET at all... The F-cars I drove were rental cars... but I'm convinced I will be an owner myself one day! But it's true that I like stock Ferrari's the most... and the 355 is my favourite... Greets!
92 3489ts Chris, I love that 355esque rear end on your black 348, where did you get the parts, I assume the lights are stock 355, but what about the mountings for them. Also is it reversible?

Bob, you are right ... my mistake when I refurbished my wheels. If I need new tires I will put them on the way it should be. I have them like this for 2 years now and no problems. Ton, The original photo has many people walking around the car so I tried to wipe them out. Just for fun. Luuk
Bob - how can you tell that the wheels are on the wrong side in Luuks pic? Looking at other pics I see that the bladed side should be on the rear side at 12 oclock position.
Mate of mine taking his boy out for a drive on Christmas Eve - dad and son both had a great time!!! Cheers Kevin Image Unavailable, Please Login
That is so nice! I can imagine the smile on both faces. My little boy is only three, but Ferrari was about the first word that he could say. I am looking forward to the moment that I can take him for a drive. Luuk, Nice car. Do you have more pics?
