    Sure I speak French!

They say at the beginning its probably because its build in flames that a Ferrari has to be red.
It takes about 4 months to assemble from the start to the delivery.
    Everything is made in house.
Its a monocoque chassis completed by a tubular rear end that will support the engine and make maintenance easy as it will take less than a day to remove and re-install the engine.
The robots are there only to accelerate the work but in fact a Ferrari is mostly build by hand.
The 348 have the same engine as the Mondial T a V8 3.4l mounted longitudinal with a transverse 5 speeds gearbox which give the 348 a very good weight distribution.
If it wasn't for the few reinforcements the bottom of the car would be perfectly flat.
All the electric wiring and hydraulic lines are passing through the central tunnel.
Dry and empty the 348 weight 1.4tons
Ferrari is also a sound and the one coming out the 300hp engine of the 348 is crackling.
With a maximum output at 7200rpm's, 0-60 in 5.6sec, 1km stopped in 24.7sec and a maximum speed of 275kmh the 348 we named after the Testarossa shows a ferocity and qualities that were more than impressive.
The great desing was made by Paninfarina.
I unfortunately had to leave the car at Maranello as I couldn't bring it home.

    That's about it guys!
Sorry for my English that is not so good but atleast you'll have a good idea of what they say in the video!

    Thanks for posting

Thanks for sharing this with us. When ever I see one of these videos or pictures of the production line in a book I always wonder, could that actually be my car? :)

Hey, I remember seeing similar "hand forming" in the Buick home plant in Flint back in the early 80's. Only difference was the guy was using a sledge hammer and a piece of felt. At least he was able to make the doors close. :)
