Hi guys, i was out in the car the day before yesterday (having a proper mini heat wave here in Italy at the minute, 23 Degs!) when a lorry overshot a corner ending up in front of me, I breaked hard and the car pulled violently to one side so much I had to counter steer it. I tracked the car, admitedly some time ago, but it never did this. It only had the M.O.T test (or Italian equivalent) in September and they checked the breaks on the rollers and they were fine (handbreak was a little out of sinc but not bad enough to fail). The reason I'm concerned is even after fitting spacers and new Pirellis I still have the 'wondering' problem and Chris suggested my shocks could be shot, which could also account for the pull under breaking, cars done 40,000 odd miles. What do you rekon lads? If it's the shocks has anyone changed from standard and if so are they any better?
    Cheers
    Steve

I'd put on good new brake pads (e.g. Axxis MetalMasters for about $60 per axel) and turn down the rotors to see if that solved the pull problem before doing the shocks (pricey) just because there's no real harm in installing new brake pads no matter what.
