    Hello all

I'm still getting to know my 1990 348ts.

I noticed on my pre-purchase test drive that the car would pull to the side when accelerating and then pull the other direction if I came off the throttle quickly. I noticed one rear tire had more wear than the other, and thought that could be the cause. I have now changed the wheels to 360 wheels with nearly new tires, and it still does the same thing.

Has anyone else had this problem?

    Thank you

You have an alignment problem and possibly a tie rod end is toast.

Check your suspension. Sounds like something is loose. These cars are 25 years old and most on the original rubber suspension bushings. A disintegrated bushing can do that.

Rear suspension likely in direction (left side) of on-throttle turn. Possible bearing, probable bushing.

It is not just alignments (although it could be) it may also have to do with the corner weighting.

I had the exact problem on my Tesla. The adjustment screw on the inner tie rod was lose and let the rear wheel toe move in and out under heavy acceleration and deceleration.

That caused the CSR to swerve left and right.
