I have a question about my 348. Around the tail light covers is a strip of black material surrounding the edge. The same material is located in front where the closed headlights meet the bumper. Some of this material is wearing off and other parts are white from wax getting caught. Is there anyway to replace this. I called the Ferrari parts guy, but he could figure out what I was talking about. Does anyone have a part no for this?

I don't see it on there. It's har to explain. I'll try to take a picture of it tonight, but if you look at where the rear strakes meet the paint, there is a strip of what looks like black sand paper between the metal and the paint. It's that back sand paper stuff I'm looking for.

I wouldn't call it rubber, it's like a strip of back textured tape almost. At least on early models

Its a thin neaoprean strip, you can buy it all sorts of sizes from builders merchants.

Looks to me like it's just textured paint, ala the sills and lower bumper on early cars.

That's It!! How do I fix it?? It seems like it peels off, so I don't think it's textured paint.

There are several kinds of non-abrasive textured tape available, like you might use in the bottom of bathtub. I think I have a roll of it somewhere here in my house.

Sorry to change the subject gentlemen but.... Mike & TMobile: Those 360 wheels look SWEET on your 348's. Was it an easy bolt on or did you guys have to play around with different wheel spacers? Do you guys have any high res photos I can use as a desktop? :)
