I have this problem with my 348 Spider rear brakes that rear brake pressure is not properly released after breaking. Pressure drops slowly and pads keep in touch with discs for a long time, so rear pads wear out quickly. I've been checking the workshop manual and I think possible failures could be return valve / delay valve / breaking corrector. Does anyone have experience on this kind of rear brake behavior and what could be the most likely cause for it?

It's likely that the brake hoses are swelled internally. A common problem in 20+ year old cars.

There isn't usually any outward sign.

That would make sense, I'll have to check the lines!
