Forgive me as this question has been asked before, but everyone seems to have a different slant on it. What is the best way to trolley jack up the rear end of my 348, individually each wheel, so that I can clean my wheels and under the wheel arch. The car will only be on the jack for an hour or so. I anticipated doing one wheel at a time. Close up Pics would help. I have heard stories of piercing the radiators when the job is not done properly. Over to the brotherhood for assistance/advice.

Im still in LA mate, but if you just want to do the rears, then jack up the corners of the engine cradle. :):)

No pics sorry mate, but I am sure someone can help out with some pics. :):)

If not, I will be back in Isa next Monday and I will get some pics up for you. :):)

If look on here, I have some pics of mine on here somewhere where I have jacked from corner of the engine cradle. One side at a time. :):)

Thanx Pap. Have a safe trip home from LA mate. Maybe someone (or you when you settle in back home) can show me a pic of the exact point on the underside engine cradle to place my trolley jack head. I'm paranoid as last time I attempted to jack up the rear from the side, the wheel arch guard lip started to flex and one of the horizontal vents in the wheel arch cracked. Duh!

There are a few photos showing where to put your jack.
The aft point is just under where the door ends and if you jack there she will go up nicely and you will have both wheels on that side in the air. The frame is rigid so do not worry. Just be sure you find the correct spot. Take a look at the car´s jack and you will see how the spot looks like.

    Good luck!

Try to find my photos if you like
