    In my search for a 348, I have seen examples from each year, some with and some without the rear strakes covering the rear stop lights. I thought the rear strakes were standard on the 348. Could the lack of rear strakes be indicative of an accident??

    the later challenge cars (93' up) did not have them. All the other models, I believe had, them unless I am leaving one out.

    The Serie Speciale versions did not have them.

    This is incorrect. Only the Speciale cars in the US had this feature. The Factory Challenge cars had the standard taillights.
