    Chris,

You can take them off if you like, but it is going to leave a gap in between the lights and all around the edges. I am not sure but you may be able to bump the lights out with soime shims to make them more Serie Speciale like, but I prefer the grate on the rear.

See...look at this car...I like the rear grill...all I would do is paint the bottom trim red ;-)

    Cheers'

Me too, but the 2 screws in the middle give me a headache because they fall down where they always get hung up on something and I have to try and retrieve them. I magnetized my screwdriver but soon realized the screws are stainless steel.

IMO, most of those kits make the 348 look like a kit car from the rear.

I agree, a lot of them do make it look like kit cars...Yours absolutely does NOT though...The challenge grill is the only way to go in my opinion...theres another one I like but I forget the name of the manufacturer....think it starts with a 'v'.

I removed mine to clean at the weekend as I do periodically. Spit (!) into the screw head - it helps hold it in place. Also, stuff a duster into the opening to catch it should it still happen to fall.

    Duster+British lingo = Rag?

I use bubblegum sometimes, but only when I can find a piece to steal from the wife or kids
