Replacing the rear window. Told the job may take several hours as the window must come out thru the cockpit with all of the trim removed first. Any thoughts or suggestions.....thanks

I realy dont know if the 348s are the same but saw a 308 rebuild on the tv. I think the windows are the same shape though, kind of a wrap around style.
The new rear window was straight forward to take out but it was a real pig to fit back in. With the new replacement window ready to fit in, it was pointed out that it would looked like it was to big for the window space. But it would fit only after one hell of a fight to get it in. The window seal was put on the window first, but the guy who was doing it had dome many ferraris. But still it was a pig. He was saying that if the seal twisted at all or did not spring out first time the whole window had to be removed again. Dont know if this helps but it shows how hard a 308 rear window is.
If ya want to look up the tv show on the web, it was called "dream machines" and it was on Sat TV in the UK.
