    I saw an old Top Gear segment on line where Jeremy Clarkson used a remote to unlock the doors on a 348 he was testing. Did Ferrari offer this on the 348?

    My late 95 Spider has remote door locks, but only work from about a foot away.

    My 92 TS did not have a remote at original delivery. It was fitted later on.

    As far as I understand:
    Central locking = factory
    remote capability for central locking = aftermarket (so with alarm etc)

    Most alarms, even low end ones, will include wires for connecting to a door lock relay. Not a difficult thing to add if you take your time.
