Guys, I believe the 348 lay and mainshaft ringnuts are of the 56mm variety. Anyone know where to get them (are they generic or F-car specific) and the tool? Has anyone got a "loaner" tool? I'd pay for the shipping and a deposit for the use. I need to replace the pin that drives the oil pump and the Brotherhood "spare" gearbox is ready for the round-robin (ready to be used for replacement for anyone's car, providing they then repair theirs and keep it for the next brother - value is that you get the car on the road faster and can wait to shop around for better deals on parts). I've got one I can send as soon as I get it back from the guy I lent it to for his 308. That's a couple of weeks away. But I think it'd be abouot $85+ round trip to London. Lemmeno.
If u want your nuts removed I know of only 2 ways...an irate chimpanze or Hill Eng.....it's your call.
