I have a line running along the joint where the roof meets the body (B-pillar?). I have been told this is where sealant used during manufacture has been pushed out of the joint over time and is pushing up under the paintwork. A similar line on the nearside has been repainted by a previous owner. I hear this is a standard problem with 348's. Has anyone had this happen to them and how do you prevent it happening again once it's been resprayed?

I read somewhere that joint is filled with lead, not sealant. I think it was in the UK forum.

348's and 355's both suffer from these stress cracks, so its almost perfectly normal, unfortunatley if you drive the car properly it will happen again, think of it the same way you'd think of having the bumpers painted due to stone chips, routine every 3-4 years! Most people just have them fixed by a bodyshop and repainted
