    I have sat in 348s when I was shopping for an F-car and they were too narrow for my wide a$%. I've heard that there were different width seat options, is that true or will I have to replace the seats with aftermarket or 355 seats to get my butt in a 348?? (I'm 6'2" 220#s, so I'm not that big...)

    I'm 6' 0" and 231 lbs. and have no problem getting my asp into the seat of my 348.

    Perhaps a few trips to the gym or an affair with a hottie might be in order. JK

    I'm 5'6" and 145 lbs, and I still find the 348 seat a bit tight when I first get in the car. But I once sat in a 348 Serie Speciale, with the composite seat, and it was REALLY tight. I suggest you try to find a 348 that you can drive for an hour, not just sit in. See if the seat still feels tight after an hour. You might be surprised.

    There is not a seat from any 2-seat Ferrari that is accommodating to the gluteus maximus that is larger than that of the 5'0 Italian who designed the seats.

    The seats from the F355 are not much better than the 348 seats.

    You'll have to live with it or purchase other seats I'm afraid.

    humm... I seemed to fit great in my 308 and in a 355, but just couldn't seem to fit in a 348. the bolsters were so narrow I didn't even get down into the seat. I guess I'll have to check out another 348... thanks for the replys.

    The seats will loosen up after some time. Mine still feel tight after 3 years at first but after a few minutes they stretch out and should fit you better. I am 6' 210 lbs.
