Hello All, Have any of you heard of or tried installing 348 seats in a 328? I am tinkering with the idea since the 288 GTO seats in my car are so uncomfortable and non existent support. I have done the prerequisite searches and and have come up empty. thanks for all your help. Cheers, Rhett
Rhett, I can't say for sure, but I have owned both models and I believe the 348 seats would be too wide. You might want to visit a reccaro dealer. Dave
Likewise, aren't the 348 seats 'attached' to their lap retractors? Seems a few mods would be in order, although I agree they 'look' to be more comfortable. ALUMINUMYELLOW328, I guess you're looking at the ones in the classifieds?

Maybe rebuild your seat foam padding, and go back to standard 328 style seats?? We were just discussing your seats in another thread, today!! I'd wager your foam has gone bad, also there's better materials these days for the application!!
I found an upholster to remedy the discomfort that I was experiencing with the drivers seat. Car is getting major done right now so I will deal with it when I get it back. Can't wait to get the car back!
