    Has anyone ever taken a 348 side view mirror apart? My mirror glass has a small imperfection in it and apparently Ferrari does not sell the mirror glass seperate from the mirror assembly. Does anyone know of a supplier of just the mirror glass? I am a afraid to start messing with it unless I know how it comes apart. Any tips would be appreciated.

    I have a left side mirror off a 1989 348tb with a broken pivot post but the rest is good plus the glass is free of imperfections. (red)

    I can fix those broken pivot post's. Don't junk it! They are over $3K complete new.

    Thanks for the response but still a little lost. If the damn thing wasn't so expensive I would be a little more brave, but I really do not want to break anything. With that being said, what are the 2 screws you are referring to? are they the ones underneath the mirror? Do I have to remove the mirror from the door, or can this be done in place? I am just trying to get the glass out.
