Hi Looking for advise. I have a 348ts 1991 clutch slave cylinder and am trying to replace the rear seal. The slave is one of the type's with the t/o bearing in a metal covering. i.e it does not sit in a recess. The part supplied so far is 139436, which is a different shape to the original and only 5mm thick. the original is 7mm thick and shaped like a standard slave piston cup seal. Can anybody point me towards the correct part no? Cheers Pete
When my slave cylinder was worked on, the invoice reflects the following sealing rings were replaced:138387, 131651, and 139436. Hope that helps.
Ron Thanks for that, the rear cylinder seal I have that is too thin is 139436 as per yours. Cheers Pete
Hi Pete, as I mentioned in response to your PM, I'd recommend you contact Daniel at Ricambi. I had a similar problem and he finally found the correct seal for me. He may even remember my case, and have a new one for you in a day or so. Good luck.
Don't put your evil on me Ricky Bobby! I'm convinced that FandLcars is building a whole new 348, one piece at a time. Just kidding. The last seal we sent out there was this bugger: http://www.ricambiamerica.com/product_info.php?products_id=201913 Image Unavailable, Please Login
