My speedometer does not work so I took the dash pod off and cleaned the printed circuit behind the speedometer. I then disconnected the pulse sensor near the rear shock. Nothing happened with either. Is there another test before I replace the pulse sensor? Thanks in advance for your help.

Have you checked the twist connector for the wiring harness, near the top of the left rear shock tower? The two wires that serve the pulse sensor run through this harness, and if the twist connector is loose or damaged, it may cause a problem with the speedometer.

I was curious to know if this suggestion would have helped the new member with the Mondial T who posted last week, but he hasn't provided any feedback.

    Thanks Miltonian,
I did check that but forgot to post that I did. Actually I did that while resolving the O2 sensor codes that you helped me with. Glad to see that you are still on FC.

Well if the connections on the back of ther speedo are good, and the twist connector neerthe charcoal canister are ok, then the only thing left has got to be the sender on the gearbox.
