348 Spider Hot start problem, help anyone?

    Ok, recently my 348 has not wanted to start after driving it a while. It starts fine when cold, but when hot, nothing, not even a sound or a crank, it will do absolutely nothing. I do get power, dash lights, etc, but nothing else, so I know it is not a battery issue, specially since I have a brand new Optima in there, has anyone experienced this? Is it the starter?Thanks in advance.
