Were any 348 Spiders made in grigio ingrid?
I cant give you an EXACT answer................but I would have to say no. They made plenty red/tan 348 Spiders but. Would love to see a Grigio Ingrid 348 Spider. I think I have seen that colour on a 348 TB, but not on a 348 Spider. If anyone has pics, please post them up.
I thought so too. I've seen a UK 348TB in grigio ingrid/red. I'm in the market for a 348 Spider and I want my car to be as "unique" as possible so I'm looking for one in oddball colors like azzurro california, grigio ingrid, verde scuro (Lake Forest Sportscars has a gorgeous 93 348TS in verde scuro), rosso rubino, etc. I don't want to be like every Tom, Dick, and Harry with a rosso corsa or nero 348 Spider but alas, I may have no choice.
I don't think the 348 spider is a very common car. So the chances of running in to Tom, Dick or Harry are rather slim. Good luck on your search. I will keep an eye out for you.
Very good! Its always good trying to be different. An Fchatter used to own a Rosso Rubino 348 Spider. That was a beauty! Should have kept her Steve. Have also seen Azzuro Cali, that looks beautiful also and is also very very rare! I dont remember ever seeing a Verde Scuro 348 Spider though. Again, another rare colour on most Ferraris also, let alone a 348 Spider. Good luck with the search mate. Wish you all the best.
Anyone know where that car is? Seen two of them. One with a dark blue interior and the other with grey interior. The one with the grey interior was a bit striking but also monochromatic at the same time. Not my cup o' tea. Thanks!
Rowan Atkinson had a verde inglese/red 456GT that was gorgeous. However it wasn't the really dark green that verde scuro is that appeals to me. But his 456 was a piece of art.
If my data and memory are correct, Grigio Ingrid was not a color promoted by Ferrari until 1998, when it debuted as the official Ferrari show color of the then-newly-revised 456, the 456M. That's why we see some 1999 355s in Grigio Ingrid. Of course, Ferrari enthusiast Ingrid Bergman used the color back in the 1950s.
