    Can anyone tell me if I should have the 348spider badge on the back rear of my car? I have seen mixed responses and I am hoping an expert can help me out. My car is a 1995 Fly Yellow 348 Spider.

    Hi,

    All Spiders should have the script on the back of the engine cover, but it`s easily removed and some owners just take it off!!

    Please correct me if I am wrong but my understanding is many spiders did not have rear script. My '94 does not. I have viewed many photos showing spiders with and without the script. As to why there is such variation, I have no idea!

    It is my understanding that Ferrari wanted to distance themselves from the problems w/ the first few years of the 348, so deleted it. I know that my dad's '95 Spider does not have it.

    My 348 spider does.....Not sure if the previous owner put it on.

    hello.

    the 1994 ferrari 348 spider officially went on sale in the united states in march of 1993. the early production models had the "348 spider" on the rear of the car. cars delivered later in 1993 and in 1994 (as '95 model year) didn't.
