    Hello,

I recently had some work done on my car and now my windows (both) will not operate from the driver side switches when the either door is closed. The the passenger switch still works.

I have confirmed that it is not the wiring in the door loom / plug as when the door is open, both switches on the drivers side work but if i push in the door open pin (without moving the door), it stops working. It appears to be a logic thing possibly with the soft top or window position sensor.

The drivers door internals were removed and the molds around the window removed when it was in the shop getting work done.

Does anybody know how the spider window ECU works and what could be causing this behavior?

    Any help would be appreciated.

IF it's the same as the 355, take a look at the connector switch behind the driver's seat, behind the left shoulder. I unplugged mine so my windows would continue to work after making my spider top MANUAL. BUT....I did it a week after the modification when all of a sudden my windows stopped working. I pulled over, unplugged the switch, and viola! Windows instantly! I've been wondering if THIS is the culprit to begin with. I should plug it back in and see if the hydraulics work, finally.

Unfortunately I think its different as the roof is full manual on the 348.
