Anyone know if spyder seats will fit in a coupe? Someone thought maybe they were too high? Thanks, Michael

All versions and types of 348 & 355 seats are interchangeable.

    No,

Berlinetta seats will not have a seat belt mounting point when fitted inside a spider. And the top ECU will not like NOT having a Potentiometer to talk to.

    Thanks!
Although I didn't understand the comment about the ECU and potentiometer?

Sorry about that. That comment is for 355 seats.

I've thought of putting 355 seats in my 348, they are way more comfortable.

Very true, but the question was, "will they fit"... the answer is yes! My answer was the simple one, whereas the mounting points and seat dimensions are identical in all versions of 348's & 355's. If he was looking to go the other way (B seats in a Spider) I would have likely pointed out that he would obviously no longer have seatbelts!

Perhaps I should point out that Spider seats have seatbelts integrated in the seats (which could be removed), and are much heavier than B seats. The seatbacks on Spiders are also fixed, and do not recline, which is a feature you would lose with replacing your B seats.

My 348ts has 355 Spider seats in it, to eliminate the mousebelts. I had to add rocker switches to control the seat motors (didn't need the potentiometers and sold them for more than I paid for the seats!), and if you run the driver seat back too far, it will hit the targa top stow mount.

But do they fit? absolutely a direct bolt it!

PS, if you do a search, there's an old thread here somewhere about my seat conversion.
