Apologies as this has been covered, but I've found conflicting numbers in the archives. I've got to replace the tires on my 348 Serie Speciale, and I'm going to take advantage of that time to swap in the proper rear wheels (I have non-SS stock 348 rear wheels, but I've sourced the proper wheels with 25mm additional track built in.) Can anyone please confirm: - proper length of lugs for these wheels - where best to find them these days?
Good question My memory is full, I think the 355 lug size is correct, PLEASE double check or PM Vince here
Just to be sure, you do not mean stainless steel lugs in the title I hope? But Serie Speciale as well? SS is not the best material for lugs/wheelbolts...
Correct, SS = Serie Speciale. The Serie Speciale came with wheels with a deeper offset than stock. Those same wheels were used on 348 Spyders. I'm looking for the length of those lugs.
I upgraded to 355 wheels that required spacers and needed shorter lugs on the fronts I think. According to the Hill Engineering site, it's the same part number front and back. If you are really unsure, check with Daniel at Ricambi.
Overall length is about 108mm. Length from base of the taper to end of threads is about 83 mm. Bolt from my 93 TB SS. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I believe the Ferrari number is 156316, same as the Spyder. Ricambi has superseded as SLWB01, then select Spyder; $19 each.
I bought 10 of those some place, 6 years ago, you can spec out the length by 5mm, but I cannot remember where now. It was not expensive....
