Guys, I haven't cranked my 348 in about a month, due to a rough travel schedule at work. Today, the car wouldn't turn over. It doesn't seem to be any issues with the battery, I am wondering if this is an electrical issue or if anyone has any suggestions? The last time I drove the car and the previous months there has been no issues what so ever.
Do you have a battery charger/jump starter? I would try that first. You may not think you have a battery issue, but start with the simple stuff first.
Just tried that, I don't have a charger, but tried to jump it off with my truck, with no luck. I figured that might be the issue since I have cranked the car in about 4 weeks.

I am not even getting a click, when I try to turn it over so there is no current hitting the selonoid on the starter. I tried jumping the car with no luck. I have full power to all peripherials; lights windows all work well....frustrated, I am hoping it isn't an ECU problem.
It isn't an ECU problem. This would be very easy to diagnose with a few quick checks on a multi-meter, or with a circuit test light. Do you have one of these available? For now, when you turn the ignition key do the warning lights on the dash come on? If the lights ARE coming on, and you aren't even getting a click, look at the starter. You don't have to crawl under the car. There should be a heavy cable coming directly from the battery, and a smaller cable coming from the ignition switch. I wonder if the smaller cable has fallen off its terminal. It's just a push on.
I just went to check the starter and everything seems to be in order, based on your decription, FYI I have a 93 SS. Is there anything else I should check?
All the warning lights come on when I turn the key to the pre-ignition position, I don't have a muti-meter, I may go grab one though. This issues is racking my brain!
Does your car have an aftermarket alarm system? Something like a Clifford? If so, the problem is almost certain to be in the alarm, not in the Ferrari.
I just checked the battery with a volt meter and I'm good, 11.98. This is driving me crazy trying to figure out where the problem is, could it be a fuse or switch issue?
I know this might sound a little weird, but it worked for me when I had the same problem. Take off the e-brake , put the car in 1sr gear and roll the car back until it stops agaings itself, then try to start it. It worked for me.
Brad, 11.98 volts isn't necessarily a good static reading (no load). Once you turn the key on, it could be dropping to something like 6 volts, indicating a bad cell. I just checked the reading on my 348, and it is showing 12.4 volts at rest. You'll get it. What about the alarm question?
If you have an alarm, that might be it. Try to put it on and then off again. It might be so that the alarm for the ignition is still "on" which means you do not get any current at all to the starter. Happened to me once when we were going with the ferry to England. Very frustrating indeed. No cables, no jump start, nothing works. Good luck. //B//
